When you register for a BSR subscription, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe; see Section 4).

1.2 Usage Information

We collect standard web usage data including browser type, device information, pages visited, search and filter activity, and session duration through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

1.3 Login and Authentication Data

We collect login timestamps, IP addresses at login, and session tokens for authentication and security purposes.

1.4 Communication Data

If you contact us via email or through the Service, we collect the content of your communications, your email address, and any other information you provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the BSR Service;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Deliver event data and email summaries to subscribers;

3.1 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (email delivery). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the services they provide to us.

3.2 For Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms & Conditions, or protect the safety of any person.

3.3 Business Transfers

If the Jacobs Family Irrevocable Trust transfers, assigns, or sells BSR or its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. BSR does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or full payment account details. 5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission;
• Encrypted password storage (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text);
• Secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant);
• JWT (JSON Web Token) based authentication; and
• Regular security reviews and updates.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

BSR uses Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views on this website. For each page view, Umami receives the page address, page title, referring page, screen size, and browser language, along with the standard information any browser sends with a web request, such as its IP address and user agent. BSR configures Umami not to record URL query strings or fragments.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements described in Section 9).

8. Children’s Privacy

BSR is not intended for users under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under eighteen. If we become aware that a child under eighteen has created an account or provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the account promptly.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account cancellation or termination:

• Voluntary cancellation: Account data is retained for thirty (30) days in case of reactivation, then deleted.
• Termination for policy violations: Account data is deleted immediately. No refund is issued.
• Permanent deletion: Available upon written request. Certain data may be retained as required by law.

After account deletion, some data may be retained for the following purposes:

• Legal compliance and tax records (up to seven years);
• Dispute resolution and arbitration proceedings; and
• Fraud prevention and Service integrity.
